Your home is private. Here's exactly what leaves your phone.
A scan of your home shows where you live and what you own. So this page lists what the app does with each piece today, and what changes before anyone outside our team can use it.
Where Snug is today: in private testing on our own homes. There is no public sign-up yet, so nobody else's scans are on our servers.

- The AI designer today is OpenAI's Astra model (gpt-6-astra), reached through OpenRouter. We're choosing the provider for public testing, and the app will name it before your first upload.
- Location: the app asks for location permission only to read the compass heading, so it knows which way your windows face. It doesn't send your coordinates.
- Share links expire on their own. The viewer doesn't show your photos, but today a link gives access to the scan's files, so share it only with people you trust.
- Public map data (terrain and aerial images around a home) is fetched only when we pin a home by hand. The app doesn't offer it.
Deleting your home
There's no delete button in the app yet. Write to support@snug3d.com and we'll delete the home and everything made from it: scans, photos, models and share links.
Before public testing opens
Planned for the first TestFlight build. This page will say when they ship.
- Sign in with Apple, and deleting a home or your whole account from inside the app.
- A consent screen before your first upload that names the AI provider.
- Private mode: no photos go to the AI designer. It works from the room's shape and your words.
- The LiDAR detail layer stays out of share links unless you turn it on.
What we never do: sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps. The app has no analytics or advertising code.
This website counts page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies. The “Email me” button opens your own mail app; we keep your address only to send the invite.
